Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, the basement rooms seemed dark, dirty, and cramped, but turned out to be clean and cozy, although quite noisy. The service from staff members like Hekmat and Jaafar was exceptionally helpful and friendly, offering useful tips to avoid extra charges. The location, while a bit complicated to reach, was amazing, just a 2-minute walk from Sultanahmet square and the metro station. The dining experience offered a variety of warm dishes, salads, and cakes at reasonable rates. Despite the lack of handles on the stairs, the spread included brown bread, olives, yogurt, eggs, and Turkish tea or coffee.
My stay at the hotel was really great! The rooms were clean, comfy, and quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff always on hand. The location was superb, right in the heart of Sultanahmet, close to all the major attractions. The dining experience was delicious, offering a variety of Turkish traditional foods. However, some construction near the hotel was a minor drawback.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was clean but a bit small and dark initially, not exactly what I had booked and paid for. However, the room eventually felt decent after settling in. The staff, especially Hekmat and Jaafar, were very helpful and hospitable. The location was convenient for sightseeing but a bit far from some parts of the city. The dining options were varied, but the quality was inconsistent. Overall, it was an okay stay with some room for improvement.
